The master jeweller behind Thomas Robb Designs is Robb Thomas. With a passionate love for all precious and semi-precious stones, Robb will ensure your piece is unlike any other.

Robb has always had a passion for jewellery. After leaving school he went straight into the jewellery industry; starting out as an apprentice in New Zealand. On migrating to Sydney, Robb completed his apprenticeship and commenced what would be a highly successful career in the jewellery industry.

Robb first went into business for himself in 1970 and before long had established a highly successful wholesale jewellery company (specialising in Pearl and Semi-precious gems). Since this time Robb has furthered his skills and knowledge with many hours of continuing education. A jewellery consultant for Sotheby’s, Robb also qualified as a Gemologist in 1980. He is a Fellow of the Gemology Association of Australia and a member of the NSW Jewellery Valuers Council.

A passion for fine workmanship, design and quality stones lead Robb to set up Thomas Robb Designs twenty years ago. His love for jewellery pieces across all time periods, strong interest in carved gems and an appreciation for all precious and semi-precious stones; ensures your piece sparkles with quality, care and expertise.
